Christmas morning at our house was such a wonderful time. It was such a joy to see the look on the girls faces as they opened up their present. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!! Nora made this at daycare for us!!

We stayed home again this year for Christmas Eve. We were supposed to go to Grandville to Matt's Aunt's house, but due to weather and a sick baby, we opted to stay home. The girls each opened up one present and Matt opened up the present that we were going to take to the Christmas Eve party...so we could have a party of our own :) After the kiddos were in bed Santa came and soon after Matt and I were in bed too!! G and me, you can't tell that less than 24 hours before this she was so sick and 24 hours after this was taken...same thing!! Matt and I...what a goof ball! Does this even need a caption! Every year the girls daycare, Christian Childcare Center, has a Christmas program for the kids. This year both of the girls were in it. Nora was so excited and did such a great job. We could hear each and every note that she sang! She has such a great singing voice. Gretchen performed too, but was a little more low key. She just stood up on stage next to her favorite teacher Edna. For the final performance Nora made sure that she stood right next to Gretchen and tried really hard to get her to do all of the moves. This was the first year that we did Christmas cookies together as a family. It was so much fun we will start making it a Christmas tradition. Not only was the cookie decorating fun, the cookies were also very delicious!!
