Update!

Hey everyone! I hope that this finds you all happy and healthy. We are happy here at the Longest household, just not too healthy. The girls have been fighting a cold for about 2 weeks if not longer. I had strep a little over a month ago and Matt has been having issues with his feet and legs again! Man, I cannot wait for spring to get here!!!
On a happier note, the girls are getting so big. As I posted in a previous blog, Nora is the average height of a 5 year old, and Gretchen is the average height of a 9 month old (that was at her 6 month check up). Gretchen will be 7 months old in just a few days and she has 2 teeth poking through on the bottom! I can't believe that she is big enough to have teeth! Speaking of teeth, Nora went with me to the dentist today, in preparation for her first dental visit in April. She was so curious and I think that she is going to do great!
Nora is also becoming very clutzy! I think that has to do with how fast she is growing, that and being cooped up in the house...she needs spring to get here most of all. She has this energy that has just come out of nowhere!! She just goes, goes, goes from the time she wakes up until she goes to bed. And it's because of that energy that she looks like she went a few rounds in a boxing ring! She first fell off of our chair in the living room and hit her eye on the top of Gretchen's bouncy seat (that was her left eye), then she was at daycare playing and her eye met one of her friends heads (that was her right eye)! On top of that she has many bruises on her legs and arms from her many slip, trips, and falls! She is my wild child!!

Right eye Daycare, left eye home!

Gretchen sitting up all by herself!!
