Riverbank Run 2009

On May 9 I ran my first 5K since my senior year of high school. My dad and I ran it together and it was so much fun. We finished with the exact same time (my dad ran my pace so we could finish together), 29:45. I just wanted to get under 30:00!! Matt and the girls were there to cheer me on, I couldn't have asked for a better day!!

Gretchen is my little smiling angel. She make my heart melt every time she smiles and shows off both of her dimples. She is stubborn and hilarious all at the same time. She certainly has a mind of her own and moves at her own pace. She is so smart and doing amazing in school. She is such a kind person and I hope she continues to always have that kindness in her. She makes each day so much fun and I love watching her grow everyday!! We were so blessed the day the Lord brought Gretchen into our lives.
